What is QuantPosition?
QuantPosition is built around one main goal: helping you spot, confirm, and act on trends in the US stock market. It ships a library of trend-following and momentum strategies like SMA and EMA crossovers (with a long-period trend filter), ADX trend-strength gating, and a Stochastic oscillator for mean-reversion setups that you can run side by side on the same session.
Layered on top of the technical signals, a live news feed streams headlines for your session symbol each one scored by AI for sentiment, market impact, and relevance, with the most important articles sent for full-text analysis. The USA Market Trader Day strategy walks you through the key moments of the trading day so you understand what is actually happening on the market at any given time, and the AI Insights view collects per-article and per-event AI-generated explanations in one place so the question “what does this mean for my position?” is already answered.
If you already have an account with another broker, you can use a paper account to manually enter your positions and take advantage of the AI-generated indicators available on this platform, otherwise you can connect your Alpaca account to run automated sessions and execute trades against your strategy parameters. Whether you're a discretionary trader looking for a structured edge or a rules-based trader who wants confirmation before entering, QuantPosition gives you a single dashboard to trade trends with confidence.

Is QuantPosition a trading bot?
QuantPosition is an AI-assisted trading platform. It provides analysis, insights, and can execute trades based on your configured strategies, but you always remain in control of your trading decisions and session parameters.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored securely with encrypted connections, we never share your personal or trading data with third parties, and broker credentials are handled through official OAuth flows so we never store your broker passwords.
Is it free to use?
QuantPosition is free. Some advanced features may require a subscription in the future.
What markets are supported?
Currently we support US stock markets through the Alpaca broker integration. Crypto and international markets are on the roadmap.
Where does the news data come from?
We aggregate financial news from multiple providers including Alpaca News, Alpha Vantage, and other financial data APIs. Each article is analyzed by AI for sentiment and market impact.
